WE CAN ONLY TAKE GIRLS ----WELL JUST THIS ONCE

Omerbeck is now living at Daysping.
Might be temporary, but with each day we must be sensitive
to much more than rules...

Lynn was overwhelmed and impacted by the following and THEN the message came along from our staff about Omerbeck.  We cannot tell the full story on this blog.  It is not pretty.  But at this time Omberbeck is clothed, with friends, warm, attending school and loved.

HERE IS THE CHALLENGING WORD THAT HIT US VERY HARD THIS MORNING BEFORE THE MESSAGE ABOUT OMERBECK...

“ I was hungry and you formed a humanitarian club and
discussed my hunger.

I was imprisoned and you crept off quietly to your
chapel and prayed for my release.

I was naked and in your mind you debated
the morality of my appearance.

I was sick and you knelt and you
thanked God for your good health.

I was homeless and you preached to me of the
spiritual shelter of the love of God.

I was lonely and you left me alone to go and pray for me.

You seem so holy, so close to God.

But I am still hungry, unclothed, lonely and cold."
Unknown…

THE STORY ON EMAIL THIS MORNING FROM OUR TEAM IN KYRGYZSTAN:  His name is Omerbeck  ), who was found living alone almost on the street, his father and mother divorced when he was three, then his father got married again, but he began to drink, and divorced again.

4 years ago his father died, he was hit by the car and died in the hospital.

His uncle took Omerbeck to his place, when he was 10, but all these years he was abusing him both physically and psychologically, so the he ran away, to his father's summer house, no one lived there, and the house was in bad shape. He was going to school anyway.

So one day the police got him..........(bad situation explained here).
..........so he was placed to Beikut. LAMb (John was there at the time and facilitated this) payed for his education in Ak-Bata.

....... today we figured out that he ran away from Beikut, stayed in the Mosque for couple days, was found by the police, and they hold him in the police station for two days.

Finally today, they let him go, because the social workers became very loud protecting him, they let him go.........(more very serious parts of the situation were revealed)...

Today we took him to Dayspring, after staying two days in police, he had to take a shower, and eat something. He is sleeping in Marks room.

Omurbek (his name), was very quiet all evening, though he was talking to me and Costa answering all the questions, he helped the girls to do thier Kyrgyz language home task. And is sleeping now, while I write you this letter. Costa bought him some underwear, cause all his clothes is in police, we will get it tomorrow from them, and I looked at his school trousers, they are all in white wall paint, that won't go off....how it happened is very disturbing.

Anyway we do understand, that he can't stay in Dayspring, but he would like to continue to study in Akbata (School of Blessing), he likes it there, he told us, that teachers here teach a lot better then in previous school, and he wants to finish the schools.

So we were thinking, may be untill you come, and we open the Jeremiah House, he could stay in our drop in centre or stay here with us at Dayspring?  The social services can make us an official letter, that they ask our organization to provide him with shelter.

What are your thoughts? Both of us feel that he is a very good kid, and somewhat idependent, cause he lived alone, and even was able to attend school, and he never was in a bad company. He just suffered from unjustice.

ANSWER - I GUESS WE NOW HAVE A BOY AT DAYSPRING....JUST KEEP EVERYONE SAFE AND SEE YOU SOON.

GOOD JOB TEAM!

Thank you for not doing what every governmental agency seems to do and simply adhere to man made rules. God's rules are a little different :-)
