JEREMIAH HOUSE SEWING PROJECT GETTING CLOSER

51 METERS OF FABRIC - CHECK
THREE SEWING MACHINES - CHECK
ONE SEWING SURGER - CHECK
THREAD - CHECK
EXTRA NEEDLES - CHECK

Shelves for the small storage room behind the sewing room.
Great for storing material, supplies and items made for sale.

Walls done, floors will be completed soon, furnace made, radiators to be put in place
and of course all the equipment needs to be put in place along with the counters.

JUST NEED THE ROOM DONE!

We traveled to Bishkek yesterday to pick up supplies for Vlady and for mom.  Mom bought a brand new surger for the kids.  So she brought it back to the apartment and is practicing.  She has a surger at her home in Arizona and has wondered if she might be able to get one like this one....says it is so much nicer than hers.

OTHER JEREMIAH NEWS

DENTAL PROBLEMS AND NEEDS....
The youth at Jeremiah House are in need of some major dental work  $750 worth.  One of our girls alone needs over $400 in work done....lots of pain and problems she has been living with.  We had not planned on this report.

VIKA STARTS ANOTHER COURSE - HAIR AND NAILS...
We are so pleased at the progress Vika is making with her studies in cook school....but she has had this desire to learn how to do hair and nails.  We thought we would have to wait for summer for her to start, but found out there are evening classes she can attend three nights a week.  She has started - $300 for the entire course - $100 for her supplies.  In addition she is taking Chinese lessons and excelling according to her teacher.

SLAVIK - A WIZ IN ELECTRONICS...
We are discovering that Slavik is very gifted with electronics and very interested in everything that is of that nature.  We have a broken computer at Dayspring (they have no computers at Jeremiah House) so it seems we might just be best to let him take it apart and have a look.  Of couse they all need a couple of computers for the home.

OMERBECK - REGISTERED FOR THE ARMY...
First, Omerbeck met a group of university students that came to JH to visit and he was very impressed.  Said he thought it would be a good idea to study heard and try to get into university as well.  He also had to register for the army...done.  Boys must go to the army when they turn 18, or after university.

DAYSPRING NEWS
We have some sick children - colds.  As you know when one child becomes ill, it easily spreads through the house.  Kids don't feel too well right now.   Not serious colds - just a little under the weather.

Tomorrow we hope to take them to Bishkek (if they feel better) to purchase some new (from a used clothing store) spring things.  They are growing like little petunias!  They all have new shoes (Samaritans Feet - thank you) but need sweaters, new school pants and school skirts.  They all have to wear black pants and black skirts for school.

ALL IS GOOD
NEEDS EXIST
GOD SUPPLIES
We thank you our Sponsors!
